Exciting motorsport festivals in Australia (Part 2)

Clipsal 500 race, South Australia

Adelaide is going to be buzzing when the Clipsal 500 race enters the city in March. This four-day festival marks the first of the Australian V8 Supercar Championships and honors the V8 Supercar events in eight categories. There are also adventure displays, spectacular aerial events, vehicle showcases and a family center. Go to a charming women’s tea party or borrow a plane to ride on the racetrack. See classic and rare cars from Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin. The Clipsal Awards are renowned for their big post-race concerts, featuring top Australian musicians such as Eskimo Joe, British India, Noiseworks and Mental as Anything.

Targa Tasmania Race, Tasmania

Former world champions and speed celebrities applauded when they raced around Tasmania in a friendly, long-distance driving competition this April. Planned exclusively for high-performance luxury vehicles, commercial cars and full-size passenger cars, this six-day festival starts in Launceston and covers more than 2,000 km until the performance of Hobart. Cheer for the excellent results from the stands. Or have lunch with the drivers in the beautiful suburban towns of George Town, Sheffield, St Helens, Devonport and New Norfolk. In this long-distance driving test, you can also drive your own sports car.

Australian Safari Race, Western Australia

‘Are you sufficiently strong for that? “asked the organizers in September of the seven-day Australasian Safari race. An easy question, as this complex long-distance run is more than 4,000 kilometers long from Perth to Kalgoorlie. Even the hardest rock climbers, the lightest cars and the most durable four-wheeled motorbikes are grappling with this durable road across the Western Australian outback. Join pieces on your own motorcycle or mountain bike timetable, stop at spectator places and immerse yourself in cycling tracks like floating in the dust.
