  4. Can I fly at my age?

If you are thinking of taking up paragliding or hang gliding, you are much to young to ask this question.

Flight licenses can only be issued to people at least 16 years of age.  Any trainee under 18, will need a written waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

As long as they have good general fitness and good flexibility, many people continue to fly well into their senior years.  We generally recommend people with concerns about age or fitness take up paragliding first.  We recommend this, simply because a paraglider weighs a lot less than a hangglider.

We work with all our students individually, and help them progress at their own pace.
